As the band sang their heart out, the fan returns them with screams and the 3 finger metal symbol on their hands, held up high.
In the middle of the song Enter Sandman, James said, "Jakarta! Can you hear it? Can you feel it?". James's shouts was returned with a hysteric screams from the crowds "Yesss!".
And then James shouted again, "that's right, for Metallica family is an important thing. And you are part of it". In the interlude of the song Creeping Death the crowds shouted, "Die..Die..Die" as they were enjoying the song, and singing along with Metallica.
This concert was also witnessed by Jakarta Governor Jokowi and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo. All the audiences were wearing the same thing, black t-shirt with the band name "Metallica" written in the front.
And at the end of the concert Metallica said goodbye and thank you to the crowds and that they will meet again. The promoter of Metallica concert, Blackrock Entertainment stated that they are deploying 2.800 personels to provide security at the concert. This action was taken to avoid the incident that happen 20 years ago at Lebak Bulus Stadium at South Jakarta in 1993, where the concert turned into riot when thousands of fans, who had failed to get tickets, forced their way into the stadium. Luckily, this years concert went well and Metallica was able to please thousands of fans. Thank you Metallica!
